Announcing the new Trakka V1.8 - Upgrade Overview

Dingo has released Trakka 1.8 with a special focus on developing a read only role for those who process samples in a workshop environment, as well as adding a report to identify bad actors (see related story in this GoodOil). Here is a summary of the new features in this release: Features Added:

• "Sampler" Role - full access to sample labels, read-only everywhere else
• Component Profile Detail - show linked alert profiles
• Data error alerts - add check for high oil hours
• Delete Samples from Inbox 1 - allow deletion of unconnected samples and connection codes
• Trigger condition alerts when moving from unconnected to clean & review
• Condition symbols - add upgraded "3D" symbols
• Deleted Information - Implement framework for handling display (or lack) of deleted information
• Component connections report - new report listing connection codes for components
• Component Profiles report - new report listing component profiles, component type, meter type and alert profile count
• Component Time In Condition - new report summarizing the time a component spends in normal, abnormal and critical... allows you to identify the "problem children"
• Lubricant Usage Summary - new report summarizing lubricant usage by drains, make-up and total usage over time.  Can be sorted to highlight high usage components.

Issues Resolved:

• Alert Profiles - improved the usability of linking multiple component profiles
• Alert Rule Import Module fails if profiles/rules already exist for site - no longer fails
• Component details - get error when opening form and the component profile has been deleted in the meantime - component profile now simply displays as blank and doesn't error.
• Error on importing components - 2nd batch - no longer errors
• Issue with timeouts and Sample Imports - the session time out now updates with each record import.  This slows down the import but ensures that the import routine does not stall during large imports.
• When the import button is clicked twice on the same file an error occurs - no longer errors and now displays a confirmation screen
• Samples not matching when they should - fixed issues surrounding nulls and zeros not being treated as equal plus non-triggering of sample matching checks when updating sample data and moving between inboxes
• Document List - not clear how to attach a document - upgraded usability and improved documentation
• Maintenance Actions - editing is not possible/use is unclear - upgraded documentation
• Components not sampled report - not sorting - sorts correctly now
• Oil Analysis Planning Data Report - does not add the maintenance actions - now displays Maintenance Actions regardless of the state of completion of the review
• Review Email still is sent even when you hit cancel - now works as expected
• Reviews are slow to do and complete - improved the usability of the up/down arrows for working through reviews. More speed improvements will be addressed with V1.9.
