1/17/07 - Condition Intelligence™ Gains Market Momentum

A year and a half ago, Dingo introduced Condition Intelligence™ to the mining industry. This service provides expert remote analysis of mining equipment condition (principally through Oil Analysis), with a goal of reducing the cost of maintenance. Several major mining companies have now embraced this service, which is now used by 12 mines in 3 countries to manage 2,906 assets and 11,266 components worth an estimated half a billion dollars.

	Newmont have implemented Condition Intelligence at all mines in Nevada to provide their planners with access to expert interpretation of lab testing data to identify and troubleshoot potential problems on trucks, shovels and drills.
	Peabody Energy use the service at 4 underground mines, so that their maintenance team can stay focused on planning and executing work.
	Anglo American rely on Condition Intelligence to make sure that nothing falls through the cracks, as they focus their energies on rapid expansion plans which demand new equipment and maximum uptime.
	Coeur Resources adopted Condition Intelligence in the last nine months of the Rochester Mine, so that they could have flexibility redeploying staff and equipment without the fear of unplanned breakdowns.
	Elk Valley Coal have started using Condition Intelligence as part of an overall program focused on cost savings and improved wheel motor maintenance costs.
