Dingo signs multi-year contract with Teck Coal, expanding its relationship

Denver, Colo. July 6, 2009 -- Dingo has announced a multi-year contract with Teck Coal, Canada's leading, steelmaking coal producer to expand Dingo's Condition-Based Asset Management (CBAM) program to six of the company's mine sites. The new contract is the largest and longest single contract in Dingo's 11-year history.

"By expanding our relationship with Dingo," said Mark Bernadet, Teck Coal's general manager of Operational Performance, "we hope to maximize the benefits of proactive and planned maintenance to all our operations. Our maintenance vision is ‘The Right Equipment at the Right Time at the Right Cost to achieve mine plan.' The expansion of the Dingo relationship is one step to help us achieve this vision."

"Six of the top 10 mining companies in the world now use Dingo's CBAM technology," said Paul Higgins, Dingo president and CEO. "Our customers typically report significant, tangible results within 12 months of adopting CBAM.

"In today's challenging economic conditions, our clients are facing some of their greatest financial and operational challenges ever, requiring them to find ways to improve fleet availability and reliability while, in some cases, dramatically reducing costs. It is in this environment that clients turn to Dingo to help reduce unplanned failures and extend the useful lives of their assets. In many cases, Dingo's value proposition delivers positive cash flow almost immediately."

CBAM, adopted by mining companies worldwide, offers online machinery maintenance and replacement practices to avoid unbudgeted expense in service failures. CBAM systems extend the useful life of customers' assets and help customers avoid catastrophic in-service failures that can risk life and limb.
